2009 5th International Greyhound Planet Day

A final report of the 2009 Planet Day will be completed shortly

Do you have empty ink cartridges or old cell phones??!!

We will recycle them for you.

The Greyhound Supporters (National Capital Region) (www.gsncr.ca) will gladly accept them.  We then re-distribute them out to Greyhound Adoption Groups, who work with local recycling companies and obtain money in exchange for them. Funds received are applied to offset vet expenses and help pay other bills they have incurred.

For more information, please contact Tina Kelly at  greyaddicted@hotmail.com, at tina.kelly@GSNCR.ca, or by telephone at 519-650-9396.  We can also be contacted at info@gsncr.ca

For ADOPTION

Vegas (formerly RC Hurricane Hank)

Vegas is a very handsome black greyhound who will turn 4 in July.  He is not a large hound, weighing in at about 70 pounds.

Vegas is a nice boy who loves to be close to his people and keep an eye on them.  He is usually quiet in the house most of the time, but he does need canine companionship as he suffers from mild separation anxiety, which is steadily improving as he gets used to retirement.

We’re not sure if Vegas is cat-safe, but he has proven himself to be fine with dogs of all sizes, and he enjoys meeting canines and people wherever he goes.

Vegas does need a backyard – although he is housebroken, he has not yet learned to take care of his “calls of nature” on leash.

Contact: info@gsncr.ca or 613-216-8097 if interested.

PLAYGROUP

With the Fall & Winter now here, the outdoor Playgroup is Cancelled.  If an opportunity to socialize the hounds present itself, we will let you know.

Please call 613-216-8097 if you have any questions.
